Fall, spring. Highly focused courses, drawing on multiple disciplines of the humanities and social sciences; may be repeated for credit when topics vary.

This is a one-credit course that provides students an opportunity to lead and promote a deeper understanding of sustainable food and ecological justice among the members of the Emory Community at large.  This course enables students to learn about and engage with like-minded individuals within the Atlanta food and beverage industry, local farmers and other specialists committed to sustainable food production practices.  The Fair will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017.  Tasking the students with the execution of this project will allow them to further their leadership skills, demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and enable them to become agents of social change. Last day of class is October 2, 2017.

The schedule of courses on O.P.U.S. is the official listing of courses, including days and times they meet and the General Education Requirements they satisfy. Students should use course descriptions as general guidelines. Course requirements, grading details, book lists, and syllabi are subject to change.
